Quarantine Power Station SCADA Upgrade

Origin Energy sought to replace the aging proprietary SCADA control system attached to their Gas Turbines in the original plant of the Quarantine Power Station. This would provide a more usable and maintainable system, providing them with greater flexibility to enhance and alter based in line with their business requirements.

SAGE worked with Origin to design, prove and implement a solution that satisfied all the requirements of the project and the business.

The SAGE project scope included:

  • Work with the client to establish and capture the solution requirements
  • Evaluate the solution requirements to determine the most suitable software products for the application
  • Design the proposed solution
  • Perform a proof of concept trial on the proposed solution
  • Implement the solution and commission
