SAGE Group has officially expanded its manufacturing footprint with the commissioning of the new Advanced Manufacturing Centre, an investment that significantly enhances production capacity and operational agility. 

This facility supports our operations nationally and enables us to better serve clients globally, reinforcing our commitment to delivering excellence at scale.

This purpose-built site introduces a 120% increase in assembly capacity, allowing SAGE to strategically realign its manufacturing operations. By shifting high-volume control panel production - including ITS, repeat, and OEM builds - to the new Advanced Manufacturing Centre, the company positions its existing facility to focus on larger, more complex assemblies such as LV Switchboards and Motor Control Centres (MCCs). 

This separation of production streams is a strategic move that enables: 

• Greater throughput and efficiency across both facilities. 

• Improved workflow and resource allocation, with sub-assemblies and kitted components produced in the current facility and assembled in new Advanced Manufacturing Centre. 

• Faster build times and enhanced responsiveness to customer demand. 

The new Advanced Manufacturing Centre is also designed with scalability in mind. Infrastructure such as Lean Lifts, automated cable harnessing, and CNC capabilities provide a strong foundation for future growth.

Additionally, ergonomic improvements—like height-adjustable benches—are available to boost technicians’ comfort. 

Beyond manufacturing, the new Advanced Manufacturing Centre includes modern office and collaboration spaces that support operational oversight and team coordination, reinforcing SAGE’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
