component meet exacting standards in terms of quality and safety.

When the Australian manufacturer of radiator and oil cooling components PWR, required assistance with the initial sample test report and an integration of the
International Material Data System (IMDS), to meet the uncompromising high quality standards of prestigious German car manufacturer, they turned to SAGE Automation’s Business Optimisation team to support them.

We asked PWR’s General Manager Marshall Vann why;
“Our client suggested we use SAGE Automation to assist in delivering their quality management requirements. SAGE proved their worth through a strong knowledge of German quality requirements, a systematic approach to achieving the required documentation, plus were an invaluable link between Germany and Australia.”

PWR, a custom OEM manufacturer of radiator and oil cooling components, engaged the SAGE Automation Business Optimisation team to assist them to meet the specifications of their discerning client, which included:

• Assistance in the provision of independently verified component sample test reporting – this involved building one cooling system under serial conditions and measuring it against the initial design drawing, which verifies the measurements
  are within the tolerance and meet the standards of the German Association of the Automotive Industry known as the VDA (Verband der Automobilindustrie).
• Listing on the International Material Data System IMDS – a global standard of the automotive industry to have 85% of the parts recyclable.

SAGE Automation visisted the PWR factory to view the assembly of the parts on the assembly line.
