Cullerin Range Wind Farm SCADA upgrade

Origin Energy sought to upgrade and enhance their Citect SCADA system at their Cullerin Range Wind Farm.
SAGE worked closely with Origin to develop the project scope then design and cost a solution that met the requirements of the business.
The SAGE project scope included:
- Upgrade Citect SCADA project to version 7.1
- Implement hot standby redundancy for SCADA Servers
- Setup a web server with two clients to enable traders and operators to remotely view the system
- Design and construct specific pages and implement security access levels to enable the traders to view necessary information without
granting control privileges - Implement SCADA Phone paging system to communicate critical alarms by SMS
- Implement a SCADA Historian package
- Develop test environment complete with RTU to simulate real life environment and ensure that the DNP3 communications function correctly in the new SCADA version.
- Factory acceptance testing with the client representatives
- On site commissioning an acceptance testing with the client
