A major expansion to a Darwin shopping centre demanded new power supply.
Solution
The key contractor for electrical works contracted SAGE Automation to manufacture the the low voltage switchboards that would supply and control electricity to thenew wing of the shopping centre. Drawing on previous experience in power distribution board and low voltage (LV) switchboard manufacture, SAGE Automation built the main switchboard, tenancy services boards and distribution boards.
Outcome
These essential electrical components now supply power to the new retail shops within the shopping centre. As with any electrical and power supply works, these products were delivered with a high degree of precision, safety and compliance.
SAGE designed and manufactured the following:
- 1 SAGE cubic modular switchboard with back to back design
- 20 tenancy services boards. Built using proprietary panel boards complete with automatic transfer switches
- 12 power distribution boards that supply each retail outlet
