SAGE Automation undertook the electrical design, software development, manufacture and installation of key functionality required for a greenfield almond processing plant for Almondco. This allowed Almondco to focus on other core start up tasks and reduce risk associated with in-house management of this part of the project.
Drawing on previous experience with almond processing control systems, SAGE Automation was engaged to undertake the Electrical Design and Software Development for the greenfield Almondco Processing Plant and manufacture of the associated Motor Control Centres and LV switchboards.
These were designed and constructed in SAGE's state of the art manufacturing facility which reduced project risk for Almondco.

The switchboards were designed, built, delivered and installed on time and now ensure the new processing plant operates smoothly and safley well into the future.
Almondco Group Project and Maintenance Manager Craig Haskard said the quality of the boards would ensure the plant's ongoing reliability.
