Having seen a colleague participate in the Muscular Dystrophy Challenge in 2013, Sam decided he too would challenge himself to raise $10k for the charity.

Despite starting the challenge 2 months into the fundraising term, Sam hosted a number of Yiros days for SAGE Automation colleagues, coin toss competitions, a bowls night and raffle, proudly finishing the highest fundraiser for the year, raising $22,037, more than double the target.

Sam was thrown outside of his comfort zone on the Muscle Challenge Adventure, but claims the experience was life changing and has made him some lifelong friends.
