SA Water have commended SAGE Automation for 'Making a Difference' in their safety, health and environment solutions.
When installing the replacement Essential Services Switchboard at the Glenelg Waste Water Treatment Plant, SAGE, along with ATK Electrical, raised a possible risk of injury when maneuvering the switchboard into a switch room.
SAGE not only identified the risk, but provided a solution, purchasing a hydraulic lifting trolling. This resulted in the safe installation of the large switchboard, which included maneuvering it through galleries, tunnels, doorways and into the switch room.
The ease of use and maneuverability afforded by the lifters, significantly reduced installation time.
This solution was recognised by SA Water, in their 'Make a Difference' program, promoting workplace safety.
