SAGE Automation’s commitment to promoting young leaders across its national ranks has earned it a major human resources award.
SAGE won the People Management Initiative of the Year award (for companies with less than 300 employees) at the 2008 AHRI National Awards held in Sydney on October 22.
The award was in recognition of SAGE’s expanding graduate program that gives graduates the opportunity to evaluate their employer, training on outstanding facilities, adaptable skills and a clear career path.
The national judging panel was impressed by SAGE’s “world class” graduate program and the program’s ability to meet business objectives.
“Their (SAGE’s) long-term vision is unique,” the judging panel said.
Peter Kroon, Michael Ottens, Rafael Koenig and Sarah Lloyd represented SAGE at the awards night held at Sydney Hilton on October 22 and attended by more than 400 professionals from across Australia.
The Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) Awards is Australia’s premier human resources and people management awards program. The AHRI is the national association representing human resource and people management professionals and currently has 13,000 members.
SAGE Automation CEO, Mr Adrian Fahey, said “the award win was a fantastic achievement and confirms SAGE’s reputation as a national employer of choice.”
